What I really liked about this book is that it is step-by-step plan to change in many areas of one’s life. You may not be able to do it all at once, but a little bit every day helps one to re-set the Life Button. The author divides up the work into weekly plans, with daily instructions, and the reader can implement it all at once or one area at a time. Nothing radical, but definitely moves the reader towards a more healthy lifestyle. Included are some exercises, a few recipes (easy) all of which are very do-able, and even some relevant links that will point you in the right direction. I especially appreciated the part about releasing the toxins. I was surprised and shocked by some of the things we are exposed to, and that can be so bad for us. I will be doing due diligence on labels. Start with these small changes and your life will be very different a year from now!
I am so thankful to Linda Orr Easthouse because she has made my job so much easier. As a Holistic Counselor and Integrative Wellness Coach, I spend a great deal of time and effort teaching and counseling clients on how to change the way they eat so they can regain their health. She covers all the topics which I believe are important and essential to healthy living. It's a great book to give to clients because Linda breaks it all down into easy-to-follow steps. This author even gives constant reminders to help followers to stay the course. Ms. Easthouse also does a very good job explaining the dangers of GMO's and other toxins such as cleaning products that are dangerous and cosmetics that contain cancer causing ingredients. Linda also covers exercise including walking and stretching. She doesn't just mention these things; she is very thorough in teaching them. It' s the kind of book I wished for and considered writing so clients would have a reference to rely upon. Linda has done the work and I am grateful for that. I will be using this book with my clients and am thinking about including a copy as part of their work with me.

I even had a choice of how long I wanted to take on each stage transitioning. What's even better, she explains why it's in my best interest to get certain chemicals out of my life. Linda has taken years to amass this wealth of knowledge, and it's practical. Since I'm going to be referring back to this resource frequently, I'm going to have to give my family their own copies for Christmas.
What I love about this book is that it is written in a way that is easy to understand and follow. The program outlined here is simple, but will challenge some deeply rooted lifestyle habits that are costing many of us our health. The changes take place over a period of weeks and it's a little at a time which makes it easier to stick to and less overwhelming than trying to do everything at once. This is a recipe for success and I know how much better I feel personally when my lifestyle models the one laid out here. Very good, to the point read!
